This privacy policy has been reviewed in draft form and is pending final legal sign-off. The substantive terms below are intended to be final. Last updated: June 12, 2026. Reviewed by counsel: pending.
We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, payment and banking information (processed via Stripe), and professional credentials. We also collect information automatically, including device identifiers, IP address, browser type, operating system, usage analytics (via Vercel Analytics), error reports and stack traces (via Sentry), and GPS-based geolocation data with your permission for technician routing and job proximity calculations. When you use camera or photo features — such as hazard scanning, profile photos, or job documentation — we collect the images you capture. We collect push notification tokens (FCM for Android, APNs for iOS) when you enable notifications. We also receive information from third-party services used to operate the platform, including Stripe for payment verification, background check providers for technician credentialing, and AI model providers (Anthropic and OpenAI) for diagnostic and dispatch features.
We use your information to provide and improve the DispatchIQ platform, including: matching homeowners with qualified technicians via our Merit Matrix; processing payments and payouts through Stripe Connect; verifying technician identity and credentials; dispatching drivers and calculating optimized routes using geolocation data; powering AI features such as hazard scanning (photo analysis), part matching, and smart dispatch (via Anthropic and OpenAI models); sending push notifications about job status, account activity, and platform updates; hosting and delivering the platform via Vercel edge functions and serverless infrastructure; storing and managing your data securely via Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage); monitoring platform stability and diagnosing errors via Sentry; detecting and preventing fraud; and complying with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
DispatchIQ uses AI-powered features provided by Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, and Google (Gemini) for technician merit scoring, work quality verification via photo analysis, hazard scanning (photos you submit are analyzed by Google Gemini and our fine-tuned OpenAI hazard model), diagnostic assistance (TechAssist Pro), intelligent part matching, and smart dispatch routing. When you use these features, relevant data (such as job photos, descriptions, or technician performance metrics) is sent to the AI provider for processing. AI providers process data according to their own privacy policies and do not use your data to train their models under our agreements. In mobile apps, AI features that send your content to these providers ask for your explicit consent before first use, and you can withdraw that consent at any time in the app's settings. Automated flags and scoring decisions are reviewed by human administrators before any adverse account action is taken. Technicians can view their merit score and the factors that influence it.
We share personal information only as follows: with Stripe for payment processing and financial compliance; with Supabase for data hosting, user authentication, and file storage; with Sentry for error monitoring (which may include device information and stack traces); with Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google for AI-powered features including hazard scanning, part matching, and smart dispatch; with Vercel for hosting, analytics, and edge function execution; with nearby Hazard Scan users via anonymous Neighborhood Safety Alerts — when a scan detects a critical hazard, users with a saved home address within approximately a quarter mile may receive a notification containing only the hazard category and an approximate distance (never your photos, name, account details, or exact address); with push notification services (Google FCM and Apple APNs) for delivering notifications to your devices; with other platform users as needed for service delivery (e.g., technician name and contact information shared with homeowner during an active job); with background check providers for technician credentialing; and as required by law, regulation, or legal process.
Account data is retained for the duration of your account plus 3 years after deletion. Job and payment records are retained for 7 years for financial and tax compliance. Chat messages are retained for 2 years. AI diagnostic sessions (including hazard scan photos and AI responses) are retained for 1 year. Error logs and Sentry reports are retained for 90 days. Push notification tokens are deleted upon account deletion or device de-registration. Geolocation data used for routing is retained only for the duration of the active job and then aggregated or deleted within 30 days.
You may access, correct, or delete your personal information by contacting us at legal@dispatchiq.ai. You may request export of your data in a machine-readable format. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time via your account settings or by following the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. You may opt out of AI-powered automated decision-making, though this may limit certain platform features. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA (see Section 11 below). European residents have additional rights under the GDPR, including the right to data portability, the right to erasure, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
We implement industry-standard security measures including: encryption in transit via TLS 1.3 for all connections; encryption at rest via AES-256 for stored data in Supabase; row-level security (RLS) policies enforcing data isolation between users; CSRF protection on all form submissions; rate limiting on API endpoints; Content Security Policy headers; secure authentication via Supabase Auth with session management; and audit logging of administrative actions. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and is never stored on our servers. Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 certified.
The DispatchIQ platform is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will promptly delete that information.
DispatchIQ requests access to your device's GPS location to enable technician routing, job proximity calculations, and real-time dispatch. Location data is collected only when the app is in active use and you have granted permission. You may revoke location permission at any time through your device settings. DispatchIQ also requests camera access to enable hazard scan photo capture, profile photo uploads, and job documentation photography. Photos captured through the platform may be analyzed by AI models for hazard detection and work quality verification. Camera access can be revoked at any time through your device settings.

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the CCPA: the right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell; the right to request deletion of your personal information; the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information (DispatchIQ does not sell personal information); the right to non-discrimination for exercising your CCPA rights; and the right to designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at legal@dispatchiq.ai or submit a request through your account settings. We will verify your identity before processing any request. We will respond to verified requests within 45 days. In the preceding 12 months, we have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 1 above for the business purposes described in Section 2.

Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. The date at the top of this page indicates when this policy was last updated.
